| Painter/ Illustrator, Karen Goldberg, lives in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She has exhibited her oil paintings nationally and is the co-creator and illustrator of bumpybooks, a learn to read book for young children. Primarily self taught, Karen has attended classes at the Montclair Art Museum for several years. After working in NYC for a large bank and thereafter raising 3 daughters, Karen devoted herself to oil painting. Her subject matter varies depending on what appeals to her at the time. Karen usually depicts images that impress her due to the light or reflection exhibited in the scene. Also many of her landscapes give the viewer a sense of peace and harmony. She has exhibited her work in several juried shows and has had her paintings appear on various publications. Karen frequently shows her work at the Essex Fine Art Gallery in Montclair, NJ. |
